Avant encorages volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore to build a caring, creative and art engaged community for all. We welcome all donations and sponsorships from individuals and corporations in support of our mission and work. As Avant is registered as an Institution of Public Character (“IPC”), all qualifying donations to Avant are tax deductible.

An IRAS statement, "Come 1 January 2011, individuals and businesses that donate to an Institution of Public Character (IPC) will be required to provide their respective identification numbers (e.g. NRICs, UENs). Tax deductions for the donations will be automatically reflected in their tax assessments. Donors who wish to remain anonymous and do not wish to claim tax deduction are not required to provide their identification numbers to the IPCs". -

**IPC stands for Institutions of a Public Character status governed by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCDYS). IPCs are non-profit organisations. Majority of the IPCs are charities, and the rest are sports associations. Only those organisations which are conferred the approved IPC status are authorised to receive tax-deductible donations (i.e. donors are given tax-deduction for donations made to these organisations).
